Item Work Description
Three consultants will be selected to provide Environmental Services, Utility Coordination/Oversight, and/or Railroad Coordination for the LaPorte District. The environmental document shall be prepared in accordance with Indiana's "Categorical Exclusion Manual". All necessary sections including, but not limited to, Section 106, 4F documentation, bat assessments, waters reports and wetland delineations will be included as part of the environmental document. Services to also include waterway permitting, wetland mitigation and public involvement. Other services such as air quality analysis and noise analysis and abatement design may be included later if these work types become necessary. Consultants may also be requested to provide public hearing services on various projects. This would include advanced videography of project information, graphics, A/V equipment, and other needed services for public hearings. Utility Coordination is to be performed by an individual certified through INDOT's Utility Coordinator training and certification program. Coordination is to be performed in accordance 105 IAC 13, Indiana Design Manual Chapter 104, the INDOT Utility Accommodation Policy. The consultant shall be responsible for input of all required utility data and project information into INDOT’s Utility Tracking Application (UTA) based on the current standards set by INDOT Central Office. Railroad Coordination is to be performed by an individual certified through INDOT's Railroad Coordinator training and certification program. Coordination is to be performed in accordance with Chapter 105 of the Indiana Design Manual. The consultant will be responsible for input of all required railroad information into INDOT Railroad Application program. The selected consultant will be provided details of the specific work assignment, time requirement and anticipated work product at the time of assignment with a fee proposal to be due within 14 days of assignment. This will be an eInvoice contract. All On-Call contract services are on an as-needed basis and there is a possibility that no assignments will be made.
